intensive R&D, designing, testing, refining and listening.
This 800-Watt Reference Monoblock Amplifier eliminates

MB-450 Signature Monoblock Amplifier has evolved steadily over
many years, and is a core model in VTL’s lineup. Known

wide range of speakers, the MB-450 now includes the “smart-tube”
technology derived from VTL’s flagship Siegfried amplifier,
as well as a sleek new look to match the well-received VTL Reference

Utilizing the auto
bias and fault-sensing technology first developed for the Siegfrieds,
the revised Signature amps are now even easier to use and maintain.
Parts upgrades, including portions of the regulated power supply utilized
in the Reference VTL 800W Siegfried monoblocks, contribute to a significant
improvement in sonic performance, with much improved bass punch and
dynamics. “We have transformed the MB-450 into the thoroughly
modern amplifier it needed to be,” said Luke Manley. “It
now looks the part, and more importantly, sounds the part of a world-class

Burmester

The
Burmester stereo power amplifier 956 MK
2 is a proud descendent of theirinternationally
highly acclaimed family of power amps 911
and 909. The Burmester 909 has marked the
pinnacle of audio amplification since 1990.
Many of the insights gained in designing the
909 have influenced the concept of the 956
MK 2. Like the legendary 808 pre-amplifier
the 956 MK 2 is of modular design, with the
advantage that older models can easily be
upgraded to the latest version.
Like
all amplifiers from Burmester the 956 MK 2
is, of course, completely balanced and DC-coupled
without any distorting capacitors in the signal
path. Also, the 956 MK 2 sports the same cool-looking
heat sinks which Dieter Burmester designed
for his bigger amps.

| RONDO
is our new entry-level stereo system. In our
model lineup it ranges below the very successful
BASIC Line. Our main goal in designing the
RONDO system was to build a true Burmester
system with all the typical virtues at an
affordable price. The RONDO system like all
our products is of highest quality handcrafted
in Germany.
The system consists of the integrated amplifier
051, the CD player 992, the tuner 993 and
the floor-standing speakers 995. Of course,
each component is also available individually.
Our
goal has been to create a lower-priced stereo
system that has still 100% the Burmester pedigree.
It was achieved by employing clever design,
using less expensive parts where it does not
affect the sound quality and by producing
higher quantities and, thus, taking advantage
of economies of scale.
